Visiting Grande-Digue, means take the time going on the wharfs and to eat in Take Outs, but mainly it means discovering the fascinating history of this close-knit community.

When you need more than one building to explain the various community know-hows and jobs, you go to the Pioneers Village. A lighthouse, a school, a barn, a warehouse and a family home…there is everything you need to uncover the historical identity of Acadians in Grande-Digue.

Take the time to chat with people who are passionate about their village, and don’t forget to share what you learned by using the hashtags #muséepionniers and #RFMSE.
